NI Dancesport is a membership organisation in Northern Ireland dedicated to promoting DanceSport.
We encourage the development of DanceSport in NI, welcoming everyone involved in Ballroom & Latin, Salsa, Hip Hop, Breaking, Acrobatic Rock n Roll, Boogie Woogie, Disco, Rhythm, Stage (Modern / Contemporary / Jazz), and Para dance.
We host social dances, competitions, and performance events to showcase talented dancers across the country, along with specialist workshops, seminars, and training opportunities.
We help elite dancers with pathways to intensive training and access to international competitions

Ballroom & Latin dancing... Belfast and beyond.

Join us for our weekly Beginner Ballroom & Latin dance held at the Knockbreda Parish Church Hall every Friday evening 7pm to 8.30pm, followed by our Open Practice Session 8.30pm to 10.15pm.

For more experienced dancers we have an Improvers & Intermediate exam and competition class on Mondays at 8.30pm to 10.30pm at the Shaftesbury Bowling Club, Annadale Avenue.

And for the competitive ballroom dancers we are recruiting both Solo and Couples to our competition team for 2026 to take part in dance competitions in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland as our competition season gets underway in March 2026.

Look out for our end of year Gala Ball on Saturday 14th November 2026 at the Dundary Hotel, which will be bigger and better than 2025.
